we had a chicken sitting in the freezer the past few weeks. and since ive been craving meat recently i decided it was time to defrost that bird.
lemony honey-glazed chicken. the skin was sooooooooooooo good. why cant chicken be 50% skin 50% meat? pfffft. at first i thought the lemony flavor was weird but it sorta grew on me. tangy!
threw in some leftover pumpkin, carrots, eggplant and onions to roast as well.
meat overdose. if im gonna roast anything this week, it's going to be vegetables.
in fact i should go on a detox and have salad only. :S
oh. the reason for the sudden desire to cook ? im avoiding paediatrics revision. urgh.
ive been itching to make some cornmeal muffins. cant find any place selling cornmeal!!!! need to visit one of the supermarkets in town -_- cant wait!
